Welcome to Quilt Camp at Sea!

If you have cruised with us before, welcome back. One of our greatest joys is reconnecting with friends that we have made on past cruises. When our cruises end, we may or may not keep in close contact, but when we get back together, it is like we were never apart.

If you haven’t sailed with us, please join us on one of our 2013 cruises. We have great adventures to share, things to learn and friends to make.

People ask me why Quilt Camp at Sea is different than other quilting cruises and I tell them that it is that personal connection. This is not just a business. I know that this is your vacation, your passion for quilting, the community and friendships, this is the reason you take one of our group cruises. Every part of your experience matters to all of us, to me… and I will do everything in my power to make your vacation exceptional.

Have a wonderful week and Happy Stitching!

I’m a recent widow and I’m looking at taking a quilting cruise in 2014. I’m interested in anything you have going on. I always tried to talk my husband into doing this but he never got it! Men! :)

    • Hi Shelly, I’m sorry to hear of your loss.
We have a great many women that travel alone or with their friends and others who have husbands that love to come along. You would not be alone for long on our cruise.
I have two cruises under consideration for 2014. one will be a Panama Canal cruise in the spring (probably 2wks) and I am leaning toward a Caribbean cruise for (1 wk) in late October, early November. You can contact me at kathy@travelcenter4u.com and I will put you on a list to receive information about it. The cruises are not typically approved until 18 months in advance.

  2. Note: Susan Lewis… your email bounced back to me, please see the contact page and email me directly.-kd

  3. Hi Kathy:
Hope you are having a great summer…..Cheers…..Judith

    • I am, thanks Judith. I was so glad to see that the fires were far away from La Veta, but the loss is so tragic. I hope you and your family are well. I have a lot of people really looking forward to traveling with you and Ernest again. I’ll let you know as soon I hear about the 2014 cruise. – Kathy

  4. Put me on your list for 2014 to Panama or Carribean and which one Judith Baker Montano is on. I really enjoyed her classes on this years Hawiian cruise. She is outstanding. Thanks, Edna M. Ahrens

    • Hi Edna, that will be the Panama Canal Cruise. I’m hoping to have a confirmation on that by late November, or early December. I’m sure there won’t be a problem finding you a roommate. :) Kathy

  5. Sorry, I would need a roommate, and am a non-smoker. Generally, I would like a room with a balcony. Thanks, Edna

I’ve always wanted to cruise to Alaska and a quilting cruise would be a bonus! I will need a roommate most likely, and a NON-SMOKER. I am 55 and someone close to my age would be nice. I will check into this and see if I am able to join the cruise. Yippie!

Planning our third and fourth quilt cruise with this group. Alaska and Hawaii in past.

  8. Hi Kathy and Judith,
Looking forward to seeing you both on the Panama Canal cruise. As the time draws closer, If anyone going on the Panama cruise would like to share excursion experiences please let me know. Are there any Spades or Pinochle players that would like to get together for a game or two as time allows? ……….Marcia

    • Hi Marcia, that is one of the things I would like to start sharing… shore excursions are so much fun and I know we have single travelers that would love to take a shore tour if they could go with someone. So I plan to have a list at our desk where people can indicate which shore tours they are taking so people will know they won’t be alone. p.s. I LOVED Pinochle when I was younger.. I’ll have to brush up for the cruise! – kathy

      • Marcia

Great idea Kathy and I’ll look forward to playing cards with you. (I’ll have to brush up on the Pinochle too.) :)
